Solace Gym is the shared vision of Lawrence and Louise. We wanted to create something that neither of us has ever found before in Cheltenham. A place where exercise is accessible to as many people as possible. Somewhere it doesn’t matter what you wear, whether you have anyone to come with, how fit you are or if you know a kettlebell from a cowbell!  Solace is a judgement free, fun and vibrant gym with machines and classes, handily situated in the Leckhampton area of Cheltenham at the far end of Liddington Industrial Estate on Old Station Drive, Leckhampton Road.

Just a few minutes’ walk from Bath Road, easily reached on foot or by bike, bus (the F bus stops by the entrance to the industrial estate) or car, Solace Gym has a core of circuit-style classes with an ever-changing timetable of additional fun, peaceful, energetic and exciting classes to keep you from ever getting ‘fit fatigued’! We believe we have something for everyone.

 Not just a gym though, Solace also has a café area for pre or post workout socialising and refuelling. CoMo Blend is a lovely, dog friendly cafe with cakes, smoothies, hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, soups and so much more. We have soft play playgroup twice a week for the little ones, a teen membership and can also offer the space for party hire at the weekends.

We do things a little bit differently here at Solace, as you may notice when you see our fabulous 80s theme décor! Never ones to take ourselves too seriously, (except when it comes to class planning and health and safety of course!) this carries over to our relaxed and fun vibe, our aim is to generate the feel-good factor for every single one of our members so everyone leaves feeling better than when they walked in. Knowing that anxiety is a large factor in starting somewhere new, we have a video walk through so you know exactly where you’re going and our friendly staff are always on hand to answer questions and offer reassurance.
